This Saturday, Oct 27th, at
11:00 a.m. the Spirit Plus Martial Arts Team is hosting a Family Safety Event
located on the corner of Rena Road and Pevehouse Road in Van Buren. There will
be many demonstrations of women's self-defense and different levels and types
of Martial Arts, along with Krazy Olympics, Kid's Safe Program, Photo ID and
fingerprinting, and safety tips from Police, Fire and EMS. Local musicians will
provide live music and BBQ will be available for all to eat.
Other safety organization involved is the
Crawford County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Crawford County
Search and Rescue (SAR), and Van Buren Fire Department.
