Country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested and jailed in Nashville on Sunday (April 7) after he allegedly hurled a chair off the six-story roof of a Broadway bar.

According to Billboard, Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson of Worrick Robinson Law confirmed the arrest on Monday.

The statement from the attorney reads, “At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”

According to the attorney’s office, the arrest warrant revealed that Wallen was on the sixth story roof of Eric Church‘s Chief’s Bar on Sunday night around 10:45 p.m. when witnesses said he picked up a chair and threw it off the roof. The chair reportedly fell a few feet from a couple of Metro Nashville Police Department officers who were standing near the site. The security footage confirmed Wallen’s alleged actions, the affidavit states.

The singer, who was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, was subsequently released from jail after he posted a $15,250 bond.
